Paul Taylor Academy, a kindergarten through 8th grade pubic charter school, is seeking motivated teachers and support staff in the following areas. Our public charter school focuses on Spanish acquisition and project based learning. In addition to these focal points, we believe our students' education is well-rounded through a strong music and art program.

Music Teacher (Deadline for Apps-May 2nd, 2018)

J. Paul Taylor Academy is seeking a half-time music teacher to teach general music to students in kindergarten through 3rd grade and orchestra to students in 4th grade through 8th grade.  Please read the  job description  for more details.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Possess a New Mexico teacher license with music endorsements for grades kinder through 8th.
  2. Ability to conduct orchestra with direct knowledge in violin, viola and cello (potentially bass).
  3. Teaching experience

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Over 3 years classroom teaching experience
  2. Accomplished violin, viola and/or cello musician
  3. Conducting experience

Special Education Teacher (Apps accepted until June 18th, 2018)

J.
